New birds acquired so new icon requests...

Geopelia maugeus

Heleia crassirostris

Lonchura stygia

Lonchura leucosticta

Zosterops anomalus
I would also like to request changing the English name of this latter species to Black-ringed white-eye, as it is both much more descriptive and is more commonly used in literature, including by the HBW:
http://www.hbw.com/species/black-ringed ... s-anomalus

Another request would be an icon for the very distinctively colored brown-headed brunneiceps subspecies of Lonchura atricapilla.
This photo shows well how different these birds are from the typical Black-headed munias:

I now have both black and brown-headed supspecies of these birds and it would be great if I could differentiate them in the list with different icons.

Thank you.

And something different!

I have just noticed that the HBW, pretty much considered a standard work in ornithology these days, has finally split the Zebra Finch into two separate species.
Somewhat confusingly, the more obscure little Timor Zebra Finch now wears the old Latin name T. guttata, the far more familiar Australian Zebra is now called T. castenotas.

http://www.hbw.com/species/australian-z ... s#Taxonomy

Normally such splits are only of interest to ornithologists and birdwatchers, but this one concerns what is probably the single most popular finch in aviculture!
Are you planning to split them on this site?
If so, T. guattata with all its data on the site should be renamed T. castenotas, and a new icon created for the Timor zebra with the name T. guttata.

Any chance of adding a few more society finch icons, namely Greyino, Black grey and Pearl grey

Also on the blue faced parrot finch forecaster can the Black eyed yellow be added, it's autosomal recessive and splits show some white feathers around mask
